CNC (Computer Numerical Control)
In the last couple of decades, there was significant progress in CNC technology.
The production process of CNC provides a computerized command over a variety of machinery, such as CNC machining, engraving, drilling, plane machining, and more.
In this technology, there is material removal from a block, layer by layer according to the numerical planning coming from the 3D (CAD) file; The computer is transforming the 3D file to a sequence of orders sent to the CNC machinery to produce the parts or semi-finished goods.
The CNC machines might look like conventional computerized machinery; however, they are sophisticated machinery, customized, and encoded by G-Code, enabling accurate control of location, speed, and insertions speed which are of high importance to precision manufacturing.
Among the many advantages obtained by CNC:
Accurate and identical components (also for complex geometrical shapes), attractive costing without the need for tooling, relatively low maintenance costs, low material wastage, and environmentally friendly.
In Scopustech, innovative CNC machinery is in use. We provide our customers with rich engineering know-how and expertise, taking the customer from the early NPI stages to the mass production finish processes such as high-level polishing, burnishing up to optical level as well as delicate assemblies and sub-assemblies.
